why not more database?

JForum is support 4 kinds of database(MySQL,PostgreSQL,Oracle,HSQLDB).

1.which edition can support MSSQL?
2.if I want to modify my JForum for supporting MSSQL in my local,how could I do it?

There are half support for sql server. You can get the code from cvs, but it's not 100% functional.

We're working on hibernate support, so most databases will be supported by JForum

For my Project, JForum has to many functions ;o)

Will the Hibernate be required? Because my webhost doesn't allow hibernate due to memory issues. (Whether real or perceived.)
